
In the presence of Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin Al-Saleh, the Damascus Countryside Directorate of Culture, in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, inaugurated the Cultural Center at the Juvenile Reform Institute in Qudsaya, Damascus Countryside. This initiative aims to empower juveniles and develop their intellectual and cultural skills. The center offers a range of diverse programs and activities, including reading and writing workshops, drawing and public speaking classes, theatrical acting training, cultural and intellectual courses, and artistic events that contribute to refining their skills and developing their abilities. During the inauguration, Minister Al-Saleh emphasized the importance of investing in the human mind and awareness, explaining that the center provides an opportunity for juveniles to correct their course and acquire skills that will help them integrate positively into society. He pointed out that the initiative aims to give young people a genuine opportunity for a fresh start, based on education, knowledge, and the development of individual capabilities, free from restrictions that may hinder freedom of thought and creativity. The opening of the center is part of ongoing efforts to support juveniles and enhance their opportunities to build a better future, opening new horizons for them and strengthening their ability to participate effectively in society.
